Love the Blue Sky pick ups

Just installed these in my les paul. Great tone and responsiveness.

These sound terrific in my Heritage H-535.

Exactly how I hoped they would sound. Can’t put down a guitar that I previously didn’t really want to pick up.

Great PAF for the neck in a Gibson Les Paul, the tone is warm, clear, violin like sweetness with heavy overdrive!!

Very pleased with the quality and sound no problems with fitting them. Dialled back a smooth tone and does the classic blues sound brilliantly dialled up the Les Paul raunchy is there as well. I also have a set of Sheptone P90s which again are excellent and inspired me to get the Blue Sky set

Wow! Not sure how individual tones can be recreated with this kind of accuracy, but these are awesome. Really articulate with good harmonics. Received pretty quickly as well. Thanks, will be looking at what other sets Sheptone offers.

Install in a PRS SC58. These have nice glassy overtones with enough thickness to sound great for chord work and the single notes have a sweet vowel sound too them. One of my favorites.

The Sheptone Blue Sky Humbucker Set will not disappoint. A great addition for a Gibson SG Standard. The tone is full, clear, balanced, and really enjoyable for clean, crunch, and distorted tones. Love them.

My new pickups arrived and i put them in my epi les paul traditional pro. The neck pickup sounds really nice and woody has a very sweet tone just what i was looking for.

Warm, woody, amazing! Neck can take distortion like no other pickup without loosing note definition. Best of all, if you record this thing melts into mixes like butter.

I purchased the Blue Sky Humbucker Set on the recommendation of a friend. They sound awesome! Bright, clear and shimmery. Just what I was looking for to place in my project guitar.

Very impressed with these pickups! Major upgrade from my stock Classic 57s that we’re in my SG. The pickups are extremely clear sounding and sound amazing when pushed to higher volumes. This was the exact sound I was looking for for years. I will definitely look to purchase more from Sheptone.

I finally got my set of Sheptone Bluesky Humbuckers installed. I put them in a 2005 Epiphone Dot (335). I should add that I upgraded the wiring harness (as well) to an RSguitarworks 500K pot ES-335 harness. I should also mention that I'm using a Fender Blues jr and a Fender DeVille.

s amazing. It would be easy to say anything would have been better than what was there, but I had a particular sound in mind. I was looking for a pickup that could deliver the warm, clean tone ES-335's are famous for. From there I knew I would be able to dial in almost anything. The Sheptone's delivered! I'm still working with (what I imagine will be) the endless sound/tone possibilities with my two different setups.
Jeff's customer service was great. I had several questions prior to pulling the trigger and he was there every step of the way. Jeff was quick to respond to all my inquires.I would gladly purchase again from sheptone. If you are looking for a high quality pick up that isn't mass produced, try a sheptone.

Best pickup ever. Blue Sky.

I have Blue Skys in 3 guitars I own. Now I installed them in a customer’s Les Paul. They are consistent from pair to pair! Great sounding PAF replicas. Big, hollow and detailed with 3D nuances and harmonic overtones. Sheptones Blue Sky pickups NEVER disappoint! Prices are more than fair! Best bang for the buck out there in a PAF style pickup!

They nail the Dicky Betts/Duane Allman vibe!

Blue sky set - absolutely awesome. Have about 10 of Sheps different pick ups. All of them excellent, just different flavors. I look no further.

I just replaced the BB Pro's in my '05 LP Standard with the Blue Sky's . Now my fingers are going to hurt all night from playing !! The BB Pro's were just too harsh on the bridge and the neck, too muddy. The Blue Sky's cured those issues and sound fantastic through my Carr Mercury V amp.
