Heartbreaker Humbucker Set

$254.00 $815.00

"Jaw-dropping good." - Guitar Interactive magazine

Should you dare swing the hammer of the gods, than this Heartbreaker set is for you.  As the name implies, this set is inspired by the iconic tones of Jimmy Page.  Use them in the middle position with the neck volume at 10 and cutting the bridge in from 6-7. You’ll be amazed at the results. I build every single one with nothing but the finest material, the attention to detail, and the time it takes to do it right. They will be the last set you ever buy.  Unless, of course, you own more than one guitar. Lifetime craftsmanship warranty against manufacture's defects.  Satisfaction Guaranteed.

  • Rough finished, degaussed alnico 5 magnets for articulate notes and wide dynamics
  • My own proprietary butyrate bobbins insure a coil and tone consistent to the originals every single time
  • 42AWG plain enamel wire wound to my specific number of winds and tension is what really sets mine apart from the others
  • Vintage spec’d German nickel silver baseplates with long feet accommodate even the biggest height adjustments
  • Vintage braided wire to stay true to the authenticity of the originals
  • Standard Gibson P.A.F. style 49.2mm pole spacing
  • Resistance may vary from set to set since the winding process goes strictly by the number of turns of wire but DC resistances tend to be around 8.35k for the bridge and 7.35k for the neck
  • Lifetime craftsmanship warranty against manufacture's defects.  Satisfaction Guaranteed.

Fantastic!!!

If you put this pickup, you get "that sound" that everyone wanted.
And its greatest advantage is its cost performance.

I love to read/hear this. Thank you.

Heartbreakers in a Gibson LP R0

I dont write honeymoon reviews. In fact, I put these in my Les Paul about 3 years ago or so. These pickups are in a class all their own. The tone of the guitar to me sounds and feels woody on the neck and just the right output and bite on the bridge. Middle position does as advertised, but I like it wide open and use it for funkier grooves with that middle position quack. Dialing down to around 8 brings out some superior clean tones. Amps used are Marshall Studio Vintage 20, Blankenship Leeds (Carry On), and Fender Bassman. Three different tube types that all sound superb with these pickups. Bridge pickup driven with an overdrive pedal on the front end doesnt get out of control, but gives you that sweet harmonic sustaining feedback that is musical and missing from todays genre. I have a set of Blue Sky's in another Les Paul to differentiate the tone for versitality sake. Im on the fence about putting Red Headed Step Child model in a PRS KL-33 Korina guitar, which I am confident will be superior to the PRS Mira's that came in it. I'll make that choice soon. Great pickups overall and purchased for the tone. I found Sheptone via a friend and not the hype on the net or magazines that many boutique sellers sell.

Wow! Thank you so much for the wonderful comments. This is what it is all about. And I appreciate you skipping het honeymoon review. Thank you

Love the tone!

These went in my 77 LP Standard with the full Page wiring. Super responsive dynamics and sounds great from finger picking to full crunch mode. My third set of sheptones.

Thank you so much for the kind words.
